MOULDED 'WEATHERPROOF' PADDLE LATCHES

Until now, 'paddle' latches have had one unavoidable shortcoming - they are impossible to seal, in some circumstances allowing water to penetrate to the interior of a compartment.

WBH has created an altogether new model which, because there are no openings in the 'shell' mean that it is effectively weatherproof, and much more acoustically 'quiet'.

 

Visible fixing holes (entry points for water) have been eliminated and replaced with concealed fixing bolts and 'U' bracket provided. The new model (US Patent No. 11/693,428 UK Patent No. 0606631-0) has an integral gasket and fits into the same cut-out as for the standard 108 x 140mm steel paddle handles. It is produced in Black UV Stabilised - 30% Glass Filled Nylon, with SS pivot pin and hook components for complete corrosion resistance, using our popular 'hook-latch' action for smooth and secure engagement. Hook can be extended if required.
